Rapture – 7 Year Great Tribulation – Second Coming

There are some who believe the rapture has already taken place. They are absolutely wrong. It can not happen without me! I know, if I’m living, during that time, that I’ll be “caught up.” The early church after Jesus died and then was Resurrected, later going to sit beside Father God, were in constant watchfulness. They expected Jesus return any second. Do you?

Story

History tells us of a French-Canadian city of Quebec. The Plains of Abraham is where General Wolfe and his English forces conquered Quebec from the French. It is nothing short of a miracle how the men went up the face of the great rocky cliffs. If you saw it you’d know why. A small handful could have held off General Wolfe and his men because of the nightmare cliffs and the awful heights. But scale it they did and gained the citadel.

Here is why…

The overconfident defenders, thinking it impossible for anyone to get up the cliffs became careless and had a time of pleasure instead of guard duty. Seeing this, the English forces, at night, gained the height and took the city.

Quebec was taken because the soldiers failed to keep watch. For this same reason, the majority of men and women will fail to go in the Rapture when Jesus comes back in the clouds because of failure to watch.

John 14:3  “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Are You Watching In Excitement

1Thessalonians 4:16-18 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

Seven Years Great Tribulation

This is a time you want to miss, whatever the cost. This will be like hell preparing you for the lake of fire and brimstone. The Bible teaches that the first three and one half years will not be as severe because of the 7 year covenant anti-Christ makes with the Jews. This will change at the beginning of the last half of the 7 years Great Tribulation.

The anti-Christ will break his 7 year covenant with Israel the last half of tribulation and will become a great hater of the Jews. He will persecute them terribly and if God did not supernaturally intervene, they would be destroyed. God does protect them, though many will die in the Great Tribulation.

During this time, millions will be saved. Speaking of those who once had been saved, but now backslid. Their eyes will be opened to see the truth once again. They’ll die, many tortured, because they confess Jesus as Lord instead of the anti-Christ. The majority will take the number or mark 666 which automatically spells their doom, and guarantees they’ll go to the lake of fire and brimstone for all eternity.

Jesus Second Coming

Some folks get the Rapture and the Second Coming mixed up. However they are two separate events. The rapture will happen, taking those watching in true Holiness and Righteous living as Christians, up to the clouds to meet Jesus. He will personally take them back to Heaven, to meet the Father, spending 7 glorious years with all the other saints there.

The Second Coming will take place immediately after the seven years Great Tribulation. You can read all about it in the King James Version Bible, Revelation 19:11-16. This is one of the most exciting times for a Child of God. For the sinner however, this will be terror because they are doomed for hell forever.
