Public input sought for waterfront concept plan in Summerland – Okanagan

The District of Summerland says the second round of community engagement with regards to its waterfront idea program is now underway.

The waterfront concept program is a massive enterprise, with the district indicating the prepare will established the future class of parkland, seashores, amenities and infrastructure spanning from the Peach Orchard Seashore Park boat home to the south end of Rotary Beach front Park.

The district claims it is “encouraging the community to overview the draft waterfront idea program, which incorporates: the critical conclusions of the 1st spherical of neighborhood engagement draft vision, ambitions, and targets first idea drawings for each and every beach and proposed important steps.”

A general public open house is established for Thursday, June 16, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Summerland Arena banquet home. A presentation will just take put at 5:30 p.m.

Also, an on line general public study will be open right until June 26.
