eafood Festival Meeting
There will be a Seafood Festival meeting on Tuesday, April 26, at 7.30 in the Stella Maris Centre. Everybody is welcome to attend and all suggestions and ideas are especially welcome. Volunteers are always needed.
Bridgetown Information and IT Centre.
The office is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All are welcome to call in to see the array of services, we provide all office services, social welfare forms, assistance in completing the same and advice and help to suit your needs.
The library is open from 2 p.m. 4 p.m. You can sit and read or take a book home with you. The IT room is open 9 a.m. 4 p.m. with five computers and a printer available for your personal needs.

Kilmore B-Friending
Kilmore B-Frienders are here to help you combat loneliness, isolation, feelings of depression or just a friendly ear to listen to your fears and worries. It can be easier for people to chat to an individual outside their family circle. You do not have to be alone to feel loneliness etc. you can be from a large family and still feel down and need someone to talk to.
All the volunteers are Garda vetted and trained. It is a strictly confidential service. If you have any fears or worries please reach out for help and support, do not suffer alone. Deaths

Active Retirement
Kilmore Active Retirement Association had a most enjoyable social afternoon in the AOH hall, Bridgetown on Wednesday the 20th with a good number of members present.
The quiz was won by the team of Genevieve Moynihan and Brendan Hamilton with 18 points out of a possible 20; the second team with 17 points was Bridie Barry and Noel Howlin; third team with 16 points was Maria Rossiter and Anne McKenna. The afternoon ended up with a nice ‘cuppa’.
Our next monthly meeting will be on Thursday, May 5, at 7.30 p.m. in the AOH hall.

Bingo has returned on Mondays at Murrintown Community Centre from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bus pick up at usual points: Ballycogley, Tenacre Pub, Bramble Park 7.30pm, Lakelands, Mayglass and Mulrankin. Clothing collection
Murrintown National School are holding a clothing collection on April 28. Bags can be dropped off from Wednesday, April 27, to Thursday, April 28. Please no duvets, pillows, ripped or soiled clothes or single shoes. We appreciate your support and would be grateful if you could spread the word throughout your families and community.

OULART & THE BALLAGH
Bereavement
The sympathy of the community is extended to the family, relatives and friends of the late William O’Reilly, Ballyboy, The Ballagh, who passed to his eternal reward on Holy Saturday, April 16.
He is deeply mourned and will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Kathleen, sons John and Barry, daughter Caroline and his brothers John, Tony, and Tommy, sisters Kathleen, Rita, Mary and Elizabeth, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. He was pre-deceased by his brother Patrick.
The late William was laid to rest in the Ballagh Cemetery after Funeral Mass in St John the Baptist Church, on Tuesday, April 28.
Prize Winners in Easter Draw
Oulart-The Ballagh camogie club held an Easter Draw for members of the club’s Euro Million Syndicate and the following were the lucky winners: Tara Finn (€100 One4All Gift Card), Marion Kennedy (€50 One4All Gift Card), Stephanie Royce (€40 Elvery’s Gift Voucher), Emily Morton (€25 C & C Building Providers Voucher). Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all for your loyal support.
Club lotto
The numbers drawn on Monday, April 18, were 8, 10, 16 and 22 and the Bonus Number was three. There was no winner of the jackpot. The lucky-dip winners of €30 each were Mick Mythen, Alan Goff, Bob Dunne, Seán, Bill and Joe Doyle, Harry Rossiter. The next draw will take place on Monday, May 2.
Fun Walk/Run
More than 100 people participated in the 5K Fun Run/Walk organised by Oulart-The Ballagh camogie club in aid of Oulart Hill Development Fund, last Sunday, April 24.
The proceeds will be presented at a later date.
Oulart-The Ballagh ‘Little Warriors’
The ‘Little Warriors’ started back on Saturday, April 9, and continue on Saturday mornings 11 a.m. to midday. Membership is €30 and you can register your child any Saturday morning. For further information please contact Stephen Doyle at 087 9755589.
Féile Finalists
Congratulations to Oulart-The Ballagh under-15 Hurlers, who qualified for the Division 1 Féile final that was played in Monamolin on Sunday, April 17.
Having won their three qualifier matches against Naomh Éanna, Ballinastragh Gaels and Castletown the previous day they defeated Glynn-Barntown by 1-9 to 0-5 in the semi-final. The boys in red-and-black faced Ballinastragh Gaels (Tara Rocks and Kilanerin) in the final where they went down by 1-5 to 1-8. A few days earlier the Oulart-The Ballagh team had defeated the same opposition in the opening round of the under-15 championship.
The panel of players comprised Martin Dempsey, Donnacha Proctor-Laird, Feidhlim Proctor-Laird, Callum O’Hanlon, Daniel Gallagher, Oisín Moore (captain), Carter Tohill, Reece Wickham, Jack Dunne, Seán Stamp, Ben Harpur, Oisín Rice-O’Neill, Josh Sinnott, Peter Wickham, James Walsh. Subs: Mark Redmond, Ryan Codd, Tiernan Troy, Conal Murphy, Cillian Murphy. Three members of the panel, Jack Dunne, Peter Wickham and Oisín Moore play with the Wexford under-15 Development Squads.
Wexford under-14 camogie
Six players from Oulart-The Ballagh camogie club were involved with the Wexford under-14 team that travelled to represent the Model Co. in Limerick, last Saturday. Well done to Isobel Hayes, Holly Colfer, Molly Martin, Caoimhe Moore, Ebony Harris-Burke and Clodagh Byrne.
Oulart Active Retired
Oulart Active Retired meet in Oulart Community Centre on Tuesdays, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., when bowls are played. New members are always welcome to join the Active Retired. Just turn up on any Tuesday or ring Mary O’Grady for full details (087 9361325).
The Ballagh NS
The Ballagh split-the-pot draw is held every Saturday. It costs only €2 to enter and the winner gets half the pot. A new addition to the draw is called ‘Upfront’ whereby you can pay €20 in advance which entitles you to entry in 11 draws for the price of 10.
Oulart split-the-pot
Congratulations to Gee Martin, who won €60 in the most recent split-the-pot draw in aid of Scoil Mochua. The next draw will take place on Monday, April 25.
Get Well Wishes
